Who runs this site, what belongs to whom, and what our published work about a game still in development does and does not commit us to.
This website, and everything published on it, is the work of Rynua Interactive — an independent game studio building Stellar Mariner from the Netherlands.
For anything legal — rights, permissions, complaints, or formal notices — write to legal@rynua.com. General questions and press enquiries are better served by the contact form, which routes them to the right inbox from the start.
Everything on this site — the text, the design, the code, the imagery, the Rynua name and marks, and everything relating to Stellar Mariner — belongs to Rynua Interactive unless it is credited otherwise. Third-party trademarks, engines, typefaces, and assets referenced here remain the property of their respective owners.
You may link to this site freely and quote from it for reporting, review, commentary, or discussion with appropriate attribution. You may also use material we have expressly cleared for editorial use, including material made available through our press kit, subject to any terms stated there. Other material may not be reproduced, redistributed, sold, modified, or presented as your own without our permission.
We write this site carefully and correct what we find wrong. Even so, we do not warrant that everything published here is complete, current, error-free, or suitable to rely on as professional advice of any kind.
Where a page carries a date, it describes our position on that date and does not necessarily reflect what changed afterwards. If you find something that appears wrong, tell us and we will review it.
Stellar Mariner is in active development, and published work about it reflects the project at the time it was written. Systems can change, assumptions can prove wrong, technical approaches can be replaced, and plans can move as the work develops. When that happens, we may update a page, publish a correction, or leave an older piece in place as part of the development record.
That does not mean everything published here is hypothetical. When we describe something as designed, implemented, tested, demonstrated, or proven, those words are intended to describe different stages of development. We will try to use them accordingly and correct material claims that no longer represent the project.
What does not change is the shape of what we are building: one world that everybody is in, a history that, once the game is live, accumulates rather than being periodically cleared, systems that generate stories rather than script them, and no advantage that can be bought. These are the principles we intend to be held to — and if any of them ever stops being true, we will say so plainly and publicly rather than letting it quietly lapse.
Nothing published here is an offer for sale, and this site currently provides no means to purchase Stellar Mariner or any item associated with it.
Where this site links to services or websites we do not operate, those links are provided for convenience or context. We have no control over what those services publish, how they behave, or what they do with your data once you arrive, and we are not responsible for any of it. Their terms and privacy policies apply there, not ours.
We aim to keep this site available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, restrict, or withdraw any part of it at any time, including for maintenance, security, development, or operational reasons.
Use the site lawfully and in good faith. Do not disrupt it, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with other users, or use it to distribute anything unlawful. If you are looking for the terms under which security testing is permitted, those are set out separately in our vulnerability disclosure policy; nothing in this notice grants authorisation to test.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rynua Interactive is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, your inability to use it, or your reliance on material published here.
Nothing in this notice excludes or limits liability where the law does not permit us to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Nothing in this notice affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
This notice and any dispute arising from this website are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere or otherwise requires a different forum.
